Favorite Liquid Foundations

I get asked ALL the time about what foundation I use. I inform everyone that I do not have one set foundation but I use different ones all the time. With that being said, this is just a quick post about what liquid foundations I use. What I like or dislike about the product.
Let's get started!

I am a full coverage girl, so products listed are full coverage foundations unless stated otherwise.

Drug Store Foundations

**Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse
I am the shade "Caramel." This is my "go to" foundation. If I decide I want to put on makeup before class or if I'm just going to dinner with friends, this is what I'll grab. It blends easily and gives me a flawless finish! There's nothing I dislike about this foundation, it's not too cakey or heavy and not to mention I love the pump. One of my absolute favorites!
Covergirl Clean Oil-Control/Anti-Luisance
I have this in the shade "565 Tawny." I ended it up purchasing this foundation because I left my makeup case at a friend's house which I noticed when I returned to school (which was two hours away). I'm not a fan of this foundation, it's too thick and doesn't blend easily. I rarely use this foundation. However, when I do it does keep me oil free. So yes, if you have oily skin I would kind of suggest this but...yea. Moving on.

**Maybelline Fit Me
I don't know what it is with Maybelline but they have the best products EVER! This is another "go to" foundation of mines. Some compare it to MAC's Studio Fix, but I would have to disagree. Yes, it's full coverage but not a near heavy as Studio Fix. I was the shade 350 but they added more shades and I haven't ran across a 350 yet so I geared towards the shade 340. This foundation blends perfectly with your skin and it looks very natural. If you have oily or combination skin like myself, I suggest using an oil-control or mattifying primer.

Revlon Nearly Naked
I am the shade "280 Chestnut." I'm a YouTube junkie so once Revlon released their new Nearly Naked line of course all of the beauty guru's had reviews and yes, I bought it. When I first applied it I wasn't too sure, I think I grabbed the wrong color, the undertone was too red for me. Although it still blends nicely I might have to try a different shade. I would suggest this foundation but again, you would need a primer. It makes me very oily after a few hours. I can say that it does give a flawless finish, it lives up to its name "Nearly Naked."

High-End Foundations

These foundations listed are an investment I guess you can say, they range from $27-$55. But trust me, they're worth every penny.

**Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup
This foundation is just...everything. I am the shade "Nutmeg." Which is the darkest color they have. When I first used this foundation I thought it was too runny and made me look extremely oily and I thought "oh hell no, this is horrible." But, I made it work and I am in love with it--not to mention it has a pump. If you have combination skin this is a foundation that you MUST set with a powder, rather it's translucent or not. I would highly suggest this to people with dry skin. It's so lightweight it doesn't even feel like you have makeup on. I'll usually wear this to work or if I just feel like it.

**Mac Studio Fix Fluid
I'm a "NC 45." This another one of my "go to" foundations. I'll wear if I'm going out somewhere or if I want to look extra cute that day. Definition of true and full coverage. I love the way this foundation makes me look--flawless. It's easy to blend and they have an array of shades for practically anyone. The only thing negative I can say about Mac's Studio Fix is that it is very heavy and if you put too much you will and I mean will look cakey.

**Chanel's Perfection Lumiere
I am the shade "94 Ambre." This foundation is worth every penny. If you're a makeup or YouTube junkie you'll see that TymetheInfamous uses this and she was my inspiration to go out and try it--best move yet. This foundation looks so natural and applies so easily. All you need is a dime size and it'll give you the amount of coverage you need also with the small amount needed this bottle won't run out quickly. There's nothing negative I can say about this foundation besides the $55 you'll come out of pocket for it. I use this when I want to be fancy or if I'm just feeling myself that day. If you're going to spend a lot on foundation I suggest getting this one. You'll love me for it. Promise.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I love feedback and would love to hear what you guys want to see on my blog. Hopefully this will give you an idea of what foundations you should purchase. Remember before buying any high-end foundations, YOU CAN GET SAMPLES!! If you're not sure that you want to purchase a foundation, especially one that's like 50 bucks ask for a sample.

My next post with be about setting powders that I use and what a setting powder is exactly.
